A dark night photograph of a temple structure with a stone pillared pavilion and a small shrine-like building. Above it, a vertical neon or LED sign glows in red, orange and blue lettering, with a white tube light nearby. Several silhouetted figures stand within the lit pillared hall, and a few dim figures are faintly visible in the foreground. The scene is mostly black with warm and cool light accents.

Night photograph of a temple entrance hall with stone pillars and a raised stone platform. A neon sign with red and yellow lettering glows on the tower above, and a fluorescent tube light is visible. Stone carvings of animals, possibly a bull, sit on the upper ledge. Inside the lit hall a few small figures are visible near a railing and wall niche, with hanging garlands or strings on the left. Steps lead up to the entrance. Most of the frame is in darkness.

A dim stone pillared hall viewed from inside, with a dark raised stone platform in the foreground. Through the wide central opening, a dirt path runs between tall coconut palms toward a distant white building, flanked by leafy shrubs. Two or three small figures stand or sit far off along the path, too small to distinguish. No deity, ritual or identifiable ceremony is visible.

A night photograph of a whitewashed temple entrance with a tiered gopuram-style tower rising above, lit by warm lamps and a red light at its top. A small niche above the doorway holds a sculpted deity murti. Strings of orange and white festoon hang across the doorway. Two people in light clothing, one in a pale sari, walk up the steps toward the lit inner sanctum. Dense dark trees frame the scene on both sides.

A night photograph of a small stone shrine with a barred iron-grilled door set into a carved sandstone-coloured stone niche. Two tall square granite pillars support a flat stone roof over a paved stone platform, with dark trees behind. A small blue-and-yellow sign is affixed to the shrine wall and a yellow-and-blue notice is pasted on the lower door. The shrine is closed and empty of visible people.

Night photograph of a carved white stone shrine canopy with a dome-shaped top and sculpted figures, sheltering a dark deity murti or lingam inside. In front stands a dark stone yoni-pitha basin. Several people gather near the shrine: an orange-robed man in a saffron garment and shaved head stands at right, a bare-chested man in white dhoti and a man in white shirt and blue checked lungi stand at left, and a white-clad figure kneels at the basin. A banner hangs on the right wall, and a dark pillared temple hall lies behind.

Night photograph of a illuminated temple approached by a wide flight of dark stone steps flanked by lamp posts and dense trees. The lit shrine has white pillars, a red-tipped gopuram-style tower with lamps on top, and an entrance with a red-and-white hanging garland. Two standing people are visible at the top of the steps near the entrance, one raising an arm; they are small in frame and their clothing is not clearly discernible. No identifiable a person candidate is clearly visible. The temple shrine holds a deity murti inside, partially visible.

Interior of a long, dim hall with a corrugated metal roof supported by steel trusses. Woven straw mats cover the floor in rows, leading toward a white stone shrine structure framed by a red curtain. Dark cylindrical hanging pendants with decorative tassels hang from the ceiling, and a small framed picture hangs on the right wall beside a row of glass-fronted cabinets. No people are visible; a dark bundle lies on the mats near the centre. The hall is empty.
