A group of devotees walks up a stone-paved mountain path lined with green forest and steep wooded slopes under a bright sky with cumulus clouds. In the foreground a young woman in orange robes and a shawl holds a wooden walking staff and looks ahead. Behind them many people in orange clothing and orange caps follow along the trail, some in grey and dark jackets. The scene appears to be a pilgrimage trek.2006-05-24A mountain trail on the Himalaya Yatra, with a paved stone path winding between steep green slopes under a blue sky with clouds. Beside them, a woman in orange wrap and cream trousers carries a cap, and a second woman in a white kurta with an orange shawl walks at the centre. Other orange-clad pilgrims follow farther down the road, and white roadside stones line the edge.2004-06-17A photograph of a group walking barefoot along a dirt road through a wooded hillside, with houses and a forested slope behind them. In the centre, a man with long dark hair and a red bindi, wearing a loose saffron-orange shawl over his body and carrying a long wooden staff, leads the walk. Around him, orange-clad sannyasi-style followers in orange caps and wraps walk alongside, including a woman in a pink sari and an older woman in orange. A cameraman in a white shirt films from the right, and parked vehicles sit behind the group. The central figure has distinctive long swept-back hair and saffron clothing, consistent with a probable Swamiji (probable) leading the yatra walk.2006-05-23May 24 20062006-05-24A group of devotees in orange saffron shawls walks along a pale rock path beneath tall conifer trees on a hillside in the Himalayas. The lead figure wears an orange turban and a saffron wrap with a rudraksha mala, and carries a long wooden walking staff. In the foreground, a man in a bright orange cap and orange t-shirt with white dhoti-style trousers carries a trident and a cloth bundle. Beside him, a woman in an orange wrap and a rudraksha mala walks in sandals. At the front right, a long-haired man wears an orange shawl over orange garments and a red sweater, with a red bindi and a metal staff in hand, and white sneakers. The a person cues here are the long swept-back hair, the saffron garments and the rudraksha mala on the woman, but the front figure's identity is uncertain from appearance alone.2006-05-24A procession of saffron-clad devotees walks along a mountain road lined with dense green trees, with parked vehicles behind them.
