A courtyard ritual scene in front of a temple-style building. A man with long dark hair, wearing an orange saffron dhoti and shawl and a long floral garland of red and white flowers, stands with hands folded in namaskar. Beside him, another orange-clad sadhu holds a tall trident staff, and a third figure in orange stands near a brass pot. On the left, a red upholstered chair with gold trim is draped in orange cloth and holds a framed portrait of a figure in orange, garlanded with yellow and red flowers; a small red cushioned stool sits in front. Women in white and cream saris stand in a row at right with hands folded, and a seated woman in white sits by a brass ritual table with lamps and vessels. A flower rangoli lies on the floor and a hanging orange cloth with rudraksha strands frames the altar. Several people appear in the frame.

A photograph of a temple ceremony beneath a shrine decorated with pink drapes, green leaf festoons and marigold garlands. Behind the altar stands a deity murti with a crown and garlands, flanked by lit brass lamps and flowers. On a mat in front, a row of offerings is laid out on plates: fruits, sweets, yellow and white preparations and sliced produce. Several women in saffron-orange robes stand at left, one holding a tray. A woman in a white and yellow sari stands near the altar with hands folded. In the foreground a man in white dhoti with a saffron stole kneels beside a woman in orange sari and garlands, facing the offerings, as a camera operator in white with orange stole films the scene. Thick garland-covered stands and a brass kalasha-style vessel rest among the offerings.
