A photograph of a seated group of devotees in orange-red shawls during a ritual gathering. In the foreground, a young man with short dark hair and white ash marks on his forehead presses white powder to his brow with his right hand, eyes closed. He wears a red-orange shawl knotted at the shoulder, a beaded necklace with a red pendant, and a gold bracelet. Beside him, a bare-chested devotee in a red shawl sits with white marks on his face, and others in white and red garments are visible in the blurred background.

A seated young male devotee in the foreground wears an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl, with bare chest, white horizontal tripundra stripes across his forehead and body, a red bindi, and a long dark rudraksha mala. He holds a small orange offering in both hands while sitting in a meditative posture. Around him, many people in saffron and white sit on the floor of a hall with yellow pillars, and a boy in the right foreground watches. Flower offerings and small brass vessels lie on a cloth in the lower left.

Photograph of devotees seated in a hall during a ritual. In the foreground a young man in a white top and an orange-red patterned shawl dabs white ash or paste onto his forehead with his fingers. Beside him a man with short dark hair bows his head, hand to his brow. Behind them other people in white clothes and red shawls sit in rows, and a woman at right touches her forehead. No one is clearly identifiable as a person; the scene shows devotees in white ritual dress with red shawls performing forehead markings during a puja.

Several men seated on the floor in white dhoti and shawl garments wear white ash markings on their foreheads and arms during a seated meditation or satsang session. The foreground man in front right holds two fingers to his forehead in a meditative gesture, wearing a rudraksha mala, a gold bangle and a red-edged white shawl. Other seated devotees are blurred behind him, some with hands joined near their faces, in front of red and white backdrops with warm lamp light. No swami visible in close view; the scene shows devotees in ashram attire during a sitting practice.

Beside him, another bare-chested man in an orange shawl sits with eyes closed. Appearance does not clearly establish a person candidate, so this is described by role only.
