A brick-lined fire pit holds burning wood with flames rising, surrounded by ash and flower petals. A shaved-headed man in rust-red dhoti and gold necklace sits at left. A seated man in orange robes and a rudraksha mala sits centrally, with a man in purple shawl and gold chain at right reaching toward the fire with a ladle or offering. Standing priests in white and saffron-red garments with rudraksha malas stand behind. Brass lamps, silver and gold ritual vessels, decorated deity figures, and trays of white offering cups fill the background. Five to six people are visible.2015-09-14A night-time homa in progress at a square fire pit lined with yellow and orange marigold garlands. A central priest, bare-chested with a pink turban and many marigold garlands, sits cross-legged before a tall flame and tosses offerings into it. Beside him, a man in an orange shawl and white dhoti speaks into a handheld microphone and holds a basket of wood sticks. Other bare-chested men in white dhotis and garlands sit around the fire, and a man in a green cloth bends forward at the back. Baskets of offerings and small brass vessels rest on the ground.2016-02-22 +1 copiesNovember 26 20172017-11-26March 18 20132013-03-18January 03 20152015-01-03September 14 20152015-09-14 +1 copies
