The person whose foot is shown wears a red garment that drapes over the leg. Another person's white-clad leg and a bangled wrist appear at the left edge, and a bright floral arrangement of orange and pink blooms sits at the right. The scene suggests padapuja, a ritual washing or worship of a guru's feet with flowers. Only partial limbs are visible, so the physical people count is limited to the few visible persons. No legible text appears.2009-07-07A deity murti seated on a silver tray is dressed in a white silk cloth with a gold zari border and a gold-and-maroon brocade shawl draped over the shoulders, with a gold necklace across the chest. Many red rose petals are scattered over the cloth, tray and surroundings. Behind the figure are ornate gold repoussé metal panels and a second dressed figure at the right edge wearing a red and gold brocade skirt. No people are visible; the scene suggests a temple ritual such as suprapatam seva or alankaram.2024-11-21KAILASA HOUSTON, USA on 7/23/20222022-07-23 +1 copiesPhoto 82906312022-09-28 +1 copiesClose-up photograph of a seated person's bare feet during a padapuja ritual.
