A large seated group of devotees sits cross-legged on colourful mats in a temple hall decorated with gold arches, deity murtis and dark drapes. Many attendees close their eyes in meditation. In the front row a woman in a green patterned sari sits with eyes closed, a woman in a yellow shawl and white outfit sits beside her, and a woman in a bright orange sari sits with hands on her lap. Behind them men and women in white, orange and red garments sit in rows. On the left, rows of orange-robed figures are displayed on shelves, and a brass vessel sits at the lower edge. Lamps and garlands adorn the altar area with multi-armed deity murtis.

A photograph of a projected video screen showing a group of about twenty seated devotees in a temple hall with purple drapes and white deity murtis and altar decorations behind them. Most sit on the floor in mixed clothing: a woman in red and white at far left, a woman in a green salwar kameez in the center, a woman in a red top at right, and a man in an orange shirt at far right. A man in white dhoti and white shirt bows low in front, and a red banner at bottom left reads SAN JOSE MADURAI.

A group of devotees sits cross-legged on dark mats and colourful woven rugs in a temple hall with red walls and ornate deity shrines. Most people cover their eyes with both hands in a meditation posture. Men wear white kurtas and pants, women wear white and pastel salwar kameez, and a small boy in an orange t-shirt sits in the front row. Behind them stand a large ornate deity murti, a seated figure on a green-draped altar, and tall decorated pillars with tassels. No single person is clearly identified as the swami.

A photograph of a seated congregation facing a stage in a plain hall with cream walls and hanging ceiling lights. Rows of devotees sit cross-legged on red and patterned mats, many with their backs to the camera, wearing jackets, sweaters, plaid shirts and saris. On the stage stand several life-size colourful deity murti dressed in bright orange, pink, green and gold garments with crowns, including a figure playing a flute. A flat-screen television in the centre shows a red-clad figure seated among lotus-like imagery. A decorated shrine with a red and gold canopy stands at right, and a brown curtain with a patterned border hangs behind the stage. Several people in the back-row seating appear in white clothing near the shrine.

Behind the group, a decorated altar displays a deity murti in a purple garment with garlands, flanked by ornate draped backdrops and a golden chair. Several participants wear white and some wear rudraksha malas; a few wear saffron and pastel clothing. Some are seated with hands folded in namaste and others with hands on laps. A small floral offering and a notepad are on the floor in the foreground.

In the foreground a man in a gold-toned kurta sits beside a woman in a red sari, and a child in striped blue and white sits at right near a black shivalinga-like object with a gold kalasha beside it. Behind them, colourful deity murtis stand on a raised platform, and a row of orange-and-black decorated items lines the right wall. A man in a white dhoti stands at a microphone stand near the murtis, and a loudspeaker is mounted high on the wall.
