A smiling man with long swept-back dark hair, a red tilak on his forehead, an orange saffron garment and a large garland of red, yellow, pink and white flowers sits before an ornate gold throne-like backdrop with flowers behind. Probable Swamiji (long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and flower garland are the qualifying cues) is seated and laughing, reaching toward a toddler in a pink-and-white checked outfit held by a man in white with a rudraksha mala and glasses. A woman with long hair in a bun and a man in orange clothing stand at left and right, one holding a steel plate of rice or grain offered toward the child.2009-12-24December 25 20072007-12-25December 24 20092009-12-24December 24 20092009-12-24A seated man in a saffron-orange sleeveless robe wears a long fresh garland of marigold-like flowers with pink and green tassels and gold beads, and his long dark hair falls past his shoulders. He smiles and reaches his open hand toward a baby wrapped in white and blue clothing, held up by an older woman in a red sari with gold border and red blouse, wearing glasses and a thin gold chain. Behind them a red tray holds apples and other fruit, and white-clad people stand in the background.2010-02-17February 19 20152015-02-19 +1 copiesDecember 24 20092009-12-24June 21 20142014-06-21 +1 copiesApril 17 20172017-04-17A man in an orange-saffron garment with long swept-back black hair, multiple white and red-yellow-purple flower garlands and a red tilak on his forehead stands at right, placing his hand on the head of a small baby held by a woman in a black blouse and white-and-gold sari with a black beaded necklace and gold earrings. A bowl of rice or offerings sits near the child and a second bowl is at lower right. A second woman in a white sari with yellow border stands at left. Behind them is a floral backdrop of pink, white and yellow flowers and a golden ornate panel, with a decorative orange-and-green item. The scene appears to be a blessing ritual given to an infant.2009-12-24
