The gilded throne has a carved backrest with a central medallion and a garland of red, yellow and white flowers draped above it. A young man in a saffron-orange robe stands at left beside a small table with flowers and a bottle. At right, a woman in a white sari with a yellow shawl stands with hands folded near a microphone stand. The backdrop is pink and yellow with orange marigolds, and the floor is covered with a patterned carpet. Long dark hair falls to his shoulders and a tilak mark is on his forehead; the throne is framed by a semicircular arch of fresh marigolds and roses in red, orange, yellow and white over gold drapery. Two women in white saris with saffron-orange shawls sit with palms pressed together on the left, and three more women in white and orange sit on the right, all in prayer posture. Swamiji (probable) appears as the central figure, identified by the distinctive long hair, rudraksha-style gold mala and ceremonial throne; the seated figure is presented as the teacher of a satsang gathering on a white-draped stage.2010-12-06A photograph of a seated figure on an ornate gold throne (peetha) before a decorated backdrop with white and blue scalloped patterns and flower garlands. The seated person wears saffron-orange robes, a multi-strand white and red flower garland, and a rudraksha-style mala, and is smiling. A trident (trishul) stands at the right beside a green-bordered cloth. To the left, a woman in a white saree with gold border and a man in a pale gold brocade kurta stand close to the throne, the man's hands extended toward the seated figure in what appears to be an honouring gesture. Several saffron-robed attendants are partly visible at the edges. Flower petals and garlands cover the base of the throne.2008-07-17A seated figure on an ornate gilded throne with a large golden backrest and a tiger-skin cloth draped over the seat, set against maroon drapes. The seated person wears an orange-red turban, an orange-red robe, a rudraksha-style bead mala and a golden ceremonial necklace. Devotees surround the throne: a woman in a white and gold-bordered kerala-style sari bends forward with hands near the seated person, while nearby women in orange-brown saris and white-clad men in white shirts and dhotis stand with hands folded or at their sides. A yellow cloth is held near the throne's base. The scene resembles a satsang or darshan on a stage.2015-11-22January 13 20152015-01-13January 13 20152015-01-13A photograph of a stage event with a seated man in saffron-orange robes and a white flower garland, sitting on an ornate silver-and-red throne decorated with pink and yellow flower garlands.
