A photograph inside a stone temple hall with carved ceiling and wall relief. A man in orange robes stands at left holding a large polished silver bowl or vessel, offering it to a second man at centre who wears an orange shawl draped over his head and a long ornate gold-toned necklace of beads. The centre man touches his forehead with his right hand, with white ash marks visible on his arms and face. At left edge a deity murti decorated with garlands and gold ornaments is partially visible. Red curtains hang at right and a small electric lamp glows on the wall. Two to three people are visible, and a partly visible figure at bottom right is in the foreground.

Behind them a bare-chested figure in orange and a tray of white powder is held by a hand from below at the bottom edge. Interior temple scene lit by warm overhead lamps. A man in orange robes and a rudraksha mala stands at center, a white cloth draped over his head, with a bare upper body and sandalwood markings, washing or wiping his hands. Beside him a younger man in orange holds a large polished silver vessel. To the left, a golden-framed deity murti wears orange and red garments and a floral garland. On the right, a bearded man in orange with a gold chain watches. Heads of other devotees appear at the bottom edge. Carved stone pillars and a plastered ceiling frame the ritual.

Photograph inside a temple hall with a stone ceiling and carved pillars. A central man in a saffron-orange shawl and ornate gold necklace adjusts a cloth over his head with both hands, facing forward. Beside him, a younger man with long swept-back dark hair and a rudraksha-style mala stands with palms joined in saffron robes. At the right edge, a bearded man in orange robes and a flower garland stands. At left, a deity murti in gold and purple dress with flower garlands stands near a black stone shivalinga on a pedestal with a pink flower offering. The centre man is a person by appearance, given his saffron clothing, gold necklace and devotional posture; the presence of printed text in the image is a separate matter and is not used for identification.

A photograph of a temple abhishekam at a Shiva shrine. A man in orange robes with white vibhuti markings on his forehead and arm pours water from a gold pot over a dark stone lingam. Beside him a younger boy in orange robes, wearing a beaded necklace, holds a brass kalasha. Behind the lingam stands a decorated golden arch, and a garland of yellow and pink flowers hangs nearby. Two people are visible, and the scene is lit warmly against dark surroundings.
