A photograph of a crowded outdoor event at night beneath strings of lights. A figure in saffron-orange robes with a long flowing mala garland and gold necklace climbs a green-carpeted staircase, one hand raised in blessing, carrying a white cloth bundle. Along both sides, blue railings are decorated with yellow marigold garlands and sugarcane stalks. Many devotees in white dhotis and orange and pink saris press forward, several holding brass kalasha-style pots aloft. Above them, framed printed panels with decorative borders hang along the wall. The figure's ceremonial wear and gold necklace are visible, though the identity is uncertain from appearance alone.

A photograph of a crowd gathered on red-brick steps at dusk during a procession. Two large ornate umbrellas, one with red, blue and gold panels and one with a red and blue canopy with fringe, are held up over the centre. Beneath them, a man in an orange robe and a woman in orange clothing walk with attendants; a man in orange with a long white garland stands near the umbrella, and a woman in orange robes with a shawl is among them. Around them, many people wear white dhotis and white kurtas, with yellow sashes and shawls, rudraksha-style beaded necklaces, and some carry drums and a small bell-shaped drum. Bare trees and utility poles stand in the background under a pale sky.

A crowded outdoor procession on stone steps near water, with many people dressed in white and some in yellow or orange. Two large multicoloured umbrellas with tasselled edges and a trident-topped staff stand out, and a golden palanquin-like cart or ratha is decorated with yellow and orange marigold garlands and green leaves in the foreground. Men in white dhotis and women in white or yellow saris move along the steps, some holding books or objects, while others in orange and saffron robes are near the center. A few people stand on the steps in western-style white shirts with ceremonial shawls. The scene feels like a devotional ritual or temple procession.
