July 29 20082008-07-29A wide dirt road runs through a residential street lined with palm trees, a large green tree and flowering shrubs. Two-storey houses with balconies, barred windows and low white boundary walls stand on either side, and overhead power lines cross the sky. No a person candidate is visible; this is an ordinary town street scene.2012-07-08A narrow residential street with worn asphalt and a silver SUV approaching head-on, displaying a small orange flag on its front and a number plate reading SALEM or similar. Many devotees, mostly women in white and cream sarees and men in white kurtas, wear orange shawls and carry brass or copper pots on their heads or shoulders. Several people hold orange and red flags on poles. A silver-gold sedan follows slowly behind the marchers. The scene resembles a milk-pot or kalasha procession. A large crowd of marchers is visible at the centre, with more people further back in the street.2008-08-01November 25 20062006-11-25A photograph taken through a vehicle windshield of a tree-lined road with a white dashed centre line, curbs with yellow markings and utility poles strung with wires. A lone pedestrian in a light shirt and dark trousers carries a bag and walks along the left edge of the road. A dark sedan is parked on the right beside trees and a low building. Coconut palms and leafy trees fill the background under an overcast sky.2017-08-13May 20 1989July 08 20122012-07-08A two-storey pale pink and cream house with dark brown trim, yellow-framed windows and a sloping tiled roof stands beside a street.
