On the right, a bald man in saffron robes with a rudraksha mala and a dark sacred thread sits behind a brass puja tray, holding a small silver vessel. Two young men in white dhotis and saffron shawls stand at the tray, one holding a silver plate of offerings and the other with spectacles. A young man in a saffron shawl and white kurta presses his palms together nearby. Brass and silver vessels, a brass kalasha, pink flowers and a lotus leaf sit on the table. A bald man with glasses in an orange-saffron kurta and dhoti raises his right hand in a blessing gesture toward a visitor. The visitor wears a black knitted cap, a white kurta and a maroon-and-gold brocade shawl, with a beaded wooden rudraksha-style mala around his neck. Behind them a man in a white kurta with a yellow shawl stands with folded hands, and other people stand in the background near an open doorway. A vertical pillar is painted with red, blue, yellow and green floral and geometric patterns. On the right, a table holds brass plates, a steel pot, a folded orange cloth and gold-coloured ornaments. A standing fan is at the left and another at the right. A small framed religious picture hangs on the wall. The orange-robed man is a person by appearance: a bald, saffron-robed figure giving a blessing to a visitor in a setting of ritual objects.2010-09-27January 10 20092009-01-10October 12 20062006-10-12A photograph of an indoor room with beige tiled floor and white curtain at the left window. A seated figure with long swept-back dark hair, saffron-orange robes and a red bindi sits on a cushioned chair, smiling, with a pale white cloth draped over the chair. Beside him a standing man in orange robes with long hair and beard looks down. Two men in white shirts and white dhotis sit or stand near a brass plate of fruit and mango slices and a tray of pink and white flower petals, with a garland of white and pink flowers on the floor. A man in a white shirt and dark trousers stands at right beside a monk in orange robes. Several people in orange robes and white clothing gather for a ritual visit.
