Night photo at a stone temple shrine. On the left, a bare-chested man with long swept-back dark hair, white tilak on the forehead and an orange-saffron wrap over his shoulder, bends toward a linga. Beside him, a man in an orange-peach wrap wears a heavy gold necklace, a red thread across his chest and a red tilak. A tall sand-coloured linga with white paste or milk on its top stands in the foreground. Carved granite pillars and a stone corbel frame the scene.

A photograph of a bowed figure in orange robes and a long dark hair pressing both hands on a black Shiva linga set on a black peetha, with a red-coloured base and white-and-red ritual offerings around it. Behind, a standing figure in white clothes and an orange waist cloth holds a small brass vessel. A large dark stone deity sculpture stands to the right in dim light. The ritual suggests linga worship, a Shiva puja or abhishekam. a person's appearance cues are limited: the bowed figure's long hair and saffron robes are visible, but the face is not shown, so identity is uncertain.

Night photograph at an outdoor shrine beneath dark trees. On the left stands a grey stone murti of a seated deity holding an object aloft, with a red-painted base. In the centre-right, a man in a saffron/orange shawl bends forward over a small dark lingam on a red-based pedestal, hands reaching toward it. Behind him, a bald man with white forehead markings and beaded necklaces wears white. At the far right, two people in white clothes stand near, one holding a garland or flowers. The scene appears to be a devotional abhishekam-style offering at the shrine.

Night photograph of a temple ritual at a dark black stone shrine. In the foreground a bare-chested man in an orange cloth wrapped at his waist leans forward with both hands on a tall grey stone lingam set in a black yoni-shaped base dusted with white powder. Behind him a line of men and a woman in white kurtas and dhotis, some with orange shawls, stand watching. To the right a large black stone deity murti is draped in white cloth, with marigold garlands and a yellow-and-red decorated pillar, and red flower petals scattered at its base. A small brass vessel is held at left. The scene suggests an abhishekam at night.

Night-time photograph at a shrine beneath a large banyan tree. In the centre stands a figure in saffron-orange robes with a long, swept-back hair, a white forehead mark, and a thick yellow bead mala draped around the neck; he is looking down toward a small black deity murti with flowers and garlands on a white stone pedestal. Beside him a younger man in orange robes with maroon trim holds an orange cloth and tends the shrine. A blue-and-white domed shrine cover with a golden finial stands on the left, and a flaming lamp is visible at the right edge. A hand with a ring reaches into the lower left of the frame.

Night photograph of a grey stone deity murti of Dakshinamoorthy seated on a raised stone pedestal with a red-painted base, its face and hands visible in the dark. Behind them a bare-chested man wearing a white shawl and a rudraksha mala, with a white forehead mark, stands among onlookers. On the right, two men in white clothes hold brass vessels and flower garlands. Dark trees fill the background.

A dim temple interior at night shows a long-haired man in an orange-saffron garment with a white floral garland and a red-and-white flower garland, holding a brass tray with a lit oil lamp and flower petals while facing a large dark deity murti draped in red fabric and decorated with white and pink flowers. Beside him a man in a light grey shirt holds another tray, and a bare-chested man with a blue cloth wrap stands at the statue's base. Several people stand in the background. The scene suggests an aarti being offered to the deity. The man in orange shows a white forehead mark and has long hair with a swept-back look; the appearance is consistent with the page's reference, so this is a probable candidate.

Night photograph of a shaved-headed priest bent forward at a dark stone shivalingam set on a yoni-pitha base, pouring or touching it with his right hand. He wears an orange-saffron cloth draped over his bare upper body and a red-and-brown dhoti-style lower cloth. Behind him a group of standing men in white shirts and white dhotis, one with an orange shawl, watch closely; one man at right wears a pendant necklace. Red-painted stone and marigold petals surround the base, and a large white-draped statue with a gold border rises at the right edge. The priest's lower body and an oil lamp at the far left frame the scene.

A photograph of a temple interior with rough stone walls and warm lamplight. On the left, a person with long dark hair and an orange saffron robe smiles while holding a small white offering or cloth. On the right, a shaved-headed priest with white vibhuti marks on his chest and arms, wearing rudraksha malas, a white dhoti and a white upper cloth, holds a brass plate with a burning oil lamp toward the offering. Electric lights are visible on the right edge. The scene suggests an aarti or puja at a temple shrine.
