Many women and men wear ethnic dress in bright colours, including saffron, yellow, pink and green saris and salwar kameez, with rudraksha or beaded malas and garlands. Several men in white kurta and ceremonial white clothing sit in the middle rows. On the large screen at the top, a figure with long hair and saffron-toned robes, identified only by appearance, is seen speaking from a stage, with a camera on a tripod at left. Yellow and red banners frame the venue.2017-12-17 +1 copiesA seated audience fills a hall at a satsang-style programme. Many wear white or colourful saris and salwar, with rudraksha malas and white forehead marks; several wear name badges. Pale pink, orange and green saris stand out, and a few women wear black or red dupattas. Ornate red-and-gold parasol umbrellas hang along the back wall, and a figure in white stands near the far end of the hall. The scene reads as a satsang or discourse session with attentive participants.2016-08-21A dense, seated audience at a large satsang or discourse hall, mostly women and some men, photographed from the front with foreground faces in soft focus. Many wear white or pastel kurta-style tops and saris, with rudraksha malas around their necks; a woman in the centre wears a purple shawl over a patterned blouse and a name badge, and a woman at right wears a red top with rudraksha and a bindi. Some wear orange shawls and red vibhuti or kumkum marks. Attendees look toward the stage, some with notebooks and a green folder in view. The mood is attentive and focused, with no visible ritual activity.2016-12-21December 03 20112011-12-03August 21 20162016-08-21December 05 20162016-12-05December 17 20172017-12-17 +1 copiesDecember 09 20152015-12-09
