April 02 20172017-04-02April 02 20172017-04-02Close photo of a shaved-headed man with eyes closed and a red tilak on his forehead, wearing a white cloth with gold border over his shoulder and a rudraksha mala. Behind him, blurred figures wear white garments and red headbands during a seated gathering in a hall with a red-orange light and posters on the wall. Nothing clearly marks the man as a person, and his appearance does not meet the visible cues required for a probable identification, so he is described by role only as a devotee.2017-04-02April 02 20172017-04-02April 02 20172017-04-02A shaven-headed man in white dhoti and shawl with a yellow border sits with eyes closed and face lifted upward, wearing thin wire-rimmed glasses and a rudraksha mala with a red bead pendant. Behind him, red curtains and blurred figures in white and yellow-bordered cloth sit or stand in a satsang or meditation hall. A purple-clad child sits in the background, and a green-purple logo appears at upper left.2011-11-09September 28 20112011-09-28A close photograph of a shaven-headed young man in white ritual clothing seated with eyes closed, chanting or in devotional recitation. He wears a red tilak mark on his forehead, a dark beaded mala around his neck, and a white upper cloth with red border. Another person in white sits partly visible behind him, and a pale floor and white backdrop fill the background.2011-01-17A seated man in the foreground wears a cream-white kurta with gold embroidered collar and a saffron-orange shawl draped over one shoulder, with a rudraksha mala around his neck and a small red tilak on his forehead. He sits with eyes lowered in a meditative, reverent posture. Behind him, several men in white kurtas and white clothing are seated or standing in a crowded hall, with warm orange lights blurred in the background. The setting appears to be a large assembly during a satsang-style session.2016-12-01A close photograph of a young shaved-headed man with eyes closed in meditation, wearing a white dhoti-style cloth with a maroon border and a heavy multi-bead gold necklace of ornate gold beads. A white horizontal tilak with a red dot marks his forehead. Behind him, orange cloth and a brass lamp or puja vessel are visible, and another person's shaved head appears at the lower right edge.2010-09-08September 21 20112011-09-21A photograph of a shaved-headed man in an orange saffron shawl sitting with eyes closed in a meditative posture. He wears a red bindi, white horizontal tilak stripes across the forehead and shoulders, long rudraksha mala beads and a pendant on a chain. Behind him, blurred figures in white and orange clothing sit in rows in a bright hall. The man's shaved head, plain ritual white and orange clothing and adornments do not establish an identity, so he is described only as a participant in orange robes.2017-03-01
