A procession moves along a paved path beside a large white tent, with a red-brick wall on the left. A white convertible car decorated with colourful flower garlands leads the way, carried under a canopy of brightly coloured umbrellas in red, yellow, pink and green. A white convertible car, decorated with a garland of colourful flowers across its bonnet, sits at the centre, with a bare-chested man in front of it. Many people walk alongside in saffron and orange dhotis and sarees, some wearing white dhotis, and several children in orange cloths carry leafy branches or small offerings. Numerous colourful umbrellas in pink, red, yellow and green are held overhead, and a red-and-gold banner is visible at left. A procession with umbrellas and a decorated car suggests a ceremonial parade, though no specific ritual is clearly identifiable.2016-12-23A photograph of a festival procession moving along a paved path beside a red-painted brick wall, under bright daylight.
