Outdoor temple courtyard with dirt ground, shaded by trees and wooden poles. In the foreground a young man in white dhoti with gold border stands with hands folded in prayer beside brass puja plates holding lamps and offerings, and a small kalasha-like vessel. Beyond, red-and-white painted stone plinths hold a dark deity murti and a white-draped seated figure under a garland-decorated doorway; a lone person in white walks in the background. Ornate carved golden-brown pillar edged with marigold and yellow flower garlands frames the left side.2012-01-08Outdoor temple grounds with red-and-white striped plinths and black stone shrines under trees. A young man in saffron-orange robes and an orange head cloth walks barefoot on a dirt path, one hand raised, wearing a rudraksha mala around his neck. Behind him, a white-clad priest stands near a shrine with a black deity murti, and a gilded arched shrine holds a decorated deity murti with garlands. A black Nandi-style stone figure sits at right beside a black Shivalinga-type stone under a tree. Probable ceremonial setting with a signboard in Tamil script.2011-10-09September 08 20112011-09-08An outdoor temple courtyard shaded by leafy trees, lined with black stone shivalinga on red-and-white striped plinths. In the centre, a gold-painted arched frame encloses a colourful deity murti with a trident and a tall headdress, flanked by smaller gold arches holding more painted murtis. Two men stand on the path: one in an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl holding a plate, and one in white dhoti and shirt walking beside him. Potted palms and a paved stone walkway lead through the grounds, with a dark signboard set among the plinths.2012-10-11Outdoor photo in a garden shrine area with dirt ground, tree branches supported by wooden poles, and a palm plant in the foreground. A standing man in an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl, with long swept-back hair and a mala necklace, stands between two small shrine platforms with arched niches holding black stone deity murti and a black Shivalinga. The platforms are painted red and white with Tamil inscriptions; one reads a Tamil name of a planet deity and the other reads a Tamil word for lingam. Other trees and a building are visible in the background.2011-10-09Outdoor photo beneath a large leafy tree at an ashram-style open courtyard. On the left, a stone shivalinga-style shrine is decorated with marigold garlands, white cloth and a red powder base. A bare-footed man in a saffron/orange robe stands at the right holding a long wooden staff in both hands, palms pressed together. Behind him, two men in white dhotis, one with a white shoulder cloth, stand with hands folded. A fourth man in white with an orange shawl stands at the far right edge. A green tarpaulin lies on the ground and a white cloth with blue trim rests in the foreground. The scene suggests a devotional or ritual moment.2006-10-07Outdoor temple scene under a shady tree with a dense canopy and aerial roots. In the foreground, a man with long swept-back dark hair, wearing a white dhoti-style garment and a gold necklace, stands with palms pressed together in prayer, appearing to be a candidate for Swamiji (probable) with long swept-back hair and ceremonial gold necklace cues. Beside him, a man in a saffron-orange garment with a shaved head, rudraksha mala and orange shawl holds a brass tray. Behind them, men in white ritual clothes stand, and women in orange and white saris with yellow shawls stand at the right. On the left, a black stone deity murti with a white crown and a flower garland sits within a white arched shrine, in front of a mound of red kumkum, with white kolam designs on the ground.2010-12-21October 07 20062006-10-07A photograph of an outdoor temple-style garden at an ashram, with red-and-white painted plinths arranged in a circle on bare earth under trees. Three golden arched niches frame black stone shrines; the central shrine holds a figure in orange and gold clothing beside a deity murti with a crown and trident, and the left shrine holds a seated figure in orange robes. A black plaque with white lettering sits at the centre base, and a few potted plants and a lamp stand are visible. Several small figures appear in the background near the shrines, which are statues or devotees. A grey lamp post and a faint logo appear at the top left.2012-07-25April 15 20122012-04-15March 22 20132013-03-22January 02 20102010-01-02 +1 copies
