A central figure with long dark hair and a flower garland of orange and white blooms wears an orange saffron robe, orange beaded necklace and a rudraksha-style mala, walking barefoot-looking in sandals between attendants. Men in white and saffron robes walk alongside, and drummers in white dhotis and shirts play large hand drums. Ceremonial umbrellas in red, yellow and blue with tasselled edges are held overhead, and golden trident staffs are carried. A white van with partial lettering stands in the background. The scene reads as a ritual procession with percussion and parasols.2009-12-23Outdoor procession on a dirt road under an orange canopy edge. A central figure in an orange robe, with long dark hair and a rudraksha mala, walks barefoot between devotees dressed in white shirts and white dhotis with red-and-gold shawls. Devotees carry tall blue poles, a silver trident, orange flags and a decorated umbrella in red, blue and gold. One man on the right holds a silver tray with a kalasha and flowers. Trees and a small building are in the background, with a crowd behind. Procession with ratha-style ritual paraphernalia, consistent with a Guru Poornima walk. Swamiji (probable): the central orange-robed figure with long hair and rudraksha mala.2005-07-21December 23 20082008-12-23 +1 copiesDecember 23 20092009-12-23A procession moves along a red-carpeted path outdoors, with banana trees behind. A central figure in an orange-saffron robe, with long swept-back hair, a dark rudraksha mala around the neck and an orange head wrap, walks forward with hands clasped at the waist; the figure appears to be Swamiji (probable), based on long hair, saffron clothing and rudraksha mala. Umbrellas with red, green and yellow tassels and printed Peetam emblems are carried overhead on long poles. Men in white dhotis and shirts walk beside, a few in saffron shawls, and drummers play drums at the left and right edges. Another person in white with a camera stands at right.2007-01-01 +1 copiesDecember 24 20082008-12-24December 25 20062006-12-25August 01 20082008-08-01A procession outdoors under ceremonial umbrellas. A central figure in a saffron-orange robe and matching orange head wrap, with long swept-back hair, rudraksha-style beaded necklace and a flower garland, walks forward; the cues are distinctive but the identity is an appearance-based candidate only, so it is labelled Swamiji (probable). Behind him, a young man in an orange shawl carries a brass tray of yellow flowers, while men in white dhotis and shirts with rosettes walk beside colourful fringed umbrellas printed with a temple design. A man on the right in white holds a video camera and wears an orange shawl. Red and orange festoons and marigold garlands hang overhead.2007-01-30
