A photograph of a devotional gathering indoors among bookshelves. In the foreground a man with long dreadlocks, wearing an orange cloth and a gold necklace, applies white sacred ash to the forehead of a smiling boy in white. Behind him an elderly bearded man with a white-haired crown-like headpiece and red beaded malas sits in an orange and green garment, seated on a chair. Around them stand men in white dhotis and shawls, one holding a brass bowl, and a man with white ash on his forehead, while a boy in white with a tag reading "Visitor Dsk Pass" smiles at right. Behind them, orange-robed figures and a golden temple background with a silver throne-like seat. The central seated figure has long hair, a white forehead mark and a beard, and is shown in a blessing gesture. The boy raises his hands in front of his face, smiling. Golden deity murti figures and a gold trident stand in the foreground, and several white-clad devotees with rudraksha malas stand behind them. The man appears to be a person, based on the long dreadlocked hair, gold necklace and red-and-gold shawl; he is blessing the boy, and the scene suggests a ritual blessing.2017-08-08 +1 copiesApril 26 20172017-04-26May 06 20182018-05-06 +1 copiesJuly 02 20172017-07-02 +1 copiesMay 05 20172017-05-05A photograph of a young male devotee in white clothing with palms pressed together and eyes closed, while a bare-chested man in a rust-orange cloth with a gold necklace and long dreadlocked hair places his hand on the devotee's head.
