A large seated congregation of devotees in a temple hall performs a devotional sitting practice with palms pressed together in namaste. Many men, most bare-chested, wear white dhotis, rudraksha malas and horizontal white vibhuti marks on their foreheads and arms; some wear orange or red shawls. Women in white and yellow saris sit in the background among tall yellow-tipped wooden staffs and small oil lamps glowing on the floor. No a person candidate is clearly visible, as all figures are seated devotees in similar white ritual clothing.

Brass lamps and yellow-and-white offerings are placed in front of the seated rows, and small lamps glow on the floor. Several men hold palms together in namaskar. The setting is an indoor hall with pale walls and red and white cloth.

A large seated assembly of men in white dhotis, many bare-chested with rudraksha malas and white sacred marks on their foreheads and arms, sits with eyes closed and hands folded in prayer or holding small objects. Behind them, other seated participants in saffron and white cloth sit on the floor near small lit oil lamps and offerings. Visible people are attendees at a puja-style gathering; no clear appearance-based candidate for the presenter is shown.
