Evening ceremony with a figure seated on an ornate gold throne at right, wearing a tall gold crown, rudraksha-style beads, gold necklaces and an orange-saffron wrap, holding a ceremonial sceptre; the figure's appearance is consistent with a person. Garlands of marigolds and multicoloured flowers drape the throne and a golden palanquin-style seat at left, where a small standing deity murti in gold-and-saffron dress is adorned with flower garlands. Around them, devotees in white and cream dhotis and saris, including a woman in a purple sari and one in a gold sari, sit on the floor with hands folded; a few stand at left. White drapes and a red valance form the backdrop.2015-01-13A photograph of a ceremonial darshan and pada puja scene in a hall. A man with long swept-back hair wears an orange saffron robe, a garland of orange and beige beads, and sits on an ornate gold throne heaped with yellow and purple flower garlands, his hands folded. Seated before him on the floor, devotees in white clothes press their palms together, and one holds a thali of fruit and red flowers. A woman in a white sari with a green border stands at left holding papers, and a shaved-headed priest in orange sits at the far left. Beside the throne a deity murti is garlanded with white and orange flowers.2010-10-18 +1 copiesA ceremonial puja scene in a hall with a gold-framed throne. A seated figure on a gold-and-red throne (peetha) with a cushion is surrounded by yellow and orange marigold garlands and red flowers. He wears a white turban, a leopard-print shawl over a white garment, and a long garland, and is smiling broadly. Devotees in white kurtas and an orange-clad man with a shawl stand close, and a person in white kneels and bows near the throne. A tray of coins, nuts and a coconut sits on the dais. A man in white with a rudraksha mala stands at left. The seated figure matches the page's Swamiji candidate by visible cues: turban, long swept-back hair and ornate garland, with clothing and adornment consistent with the cues, so he is labelled Swamiji (probable) and marked in_person.2010-12-29July 26 20152015-07-26 +1 copiesDecember 11 20122012-12-11January 03 20162016-01-03August 09 20152015-08-09
