A man with long dark hair, bare-chested and wearing an orange-brown cloth, stands with his right hand raised on the head of a smiling man in a white kurta who has his palms pressed together in namaskar. The blessing figure wears a long yellow and orange marigold garland, multiple rudraksha-style beaded and gold-bead necklaces, a gold armlet and a gold bracelet, and small gold earrings. Around them stand several people with hands folded in prayer, including one in a dark top and others in white. In the background a gold and yellow decorated seat or throne is visible against a deep red curtain. The figure with the raised hand matches the Swamiji candidate cues of long swept-back hair, rudraksha necklaces and ceremonial gold adornment, so he is described as Swamiji (probable) performing a blessing.2013-05-29Photograph of a seated figure with long dark hair, bare-shouldered in a rust-orange wrap, wearing a thick garland of pink lotus blooms and green leaves and rudraksha-style beaded bracelets, placing a hand on the forehead of a kneeling man in a white shirt who bows with hands clasped. A gold ritual vessel or altar piece is visible in the lower foreground, with bright orange flowers at the upper right. He places his right hand on the head of a kneeling devotee in white shirt. A red zebra-print cushion and a patterned blue-and-white backdrop with a gold pillar complete the scene.
