A man in a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, shoulder bare, stands at the left reaching up to touch the crown of a golden metal deity murti seated on a throne. The murti wears a gold and jewelled face mask, a tall crown, layered ornate necklaces, and a green and gold silk garment. The throne is framed by a gilded arch with red, white, yellow and purple flower garlands, a rust-red silk backdrop, a golden lotus-shaped support and a pink lotus flower. The man's wrist shows gold bangles and a rudraksha mala is visible at his neck. Gilt ritual objects and a silver staff are at the left edge. No visible face is sufficient for an appearance-based label, so the a person field is unsure.2012-04-30December 19 20162016-12-19A seated man in an orange-red silk garment sits on an ornate silver throne upholstered with a leopard-print cushion. He wears a tall gold crown, a gold bead necklace with a pendant, gold armlets and bangles, and a long garland of white jasmine, yellow and red flowers draped over his shoulders and down to his feet. He holds a silver staff upright. A bald, bare-chested priest in white cloth with a sacred thread kneels at the lower left with palms pressed together in greeting. A silver tray of flowers rests at the feet of the seated man. Behind him are silver repoussé panels and a gold-and-blue embroidered cloth. A man sits on a throne with ceremonial garlands, consistent with Swamiji (probable) described by crown, saffron-orange garments and gold necklaces, but the face is not used for identification. The seated figure's role is honoured guest or presiding teacher on a dais.2017-10-18May 25 20132013-05-25November 18 20152015-11-18A photograph of a temple worship scene in front of a gold-framed shrine with a gold drape behind. Two richly adorned deity murtis sit at centre, heavily decorated with yellow marigold and red and white flower garlands, jewelled crowns and ornate gold and silver necklaces. A figure in a rust-red turban and rust-red dhoti with a saffron shawl, seen from behind, stands at left with a rudraksha mala around the neck and a white sacred marking on the upper arm, facing the deities. The scene looks like a night puja or alankaram. The figure's face is not visible, so no candidate is identified; the role is a ritual officiant.2015-11-18A priest in an orange-red turban and rust-orange dhoti with a gold-bordered waist cloth stands at left, reaching toward an ornate deity murti decorated with gold jewellery, rudraksha-style beads and necklaces. The murti is framed by a dense backdrop of garlands in red, yellow, white and green flowers. In front, a wooden platform holds a silver-and-bead decorated footwear-like object wrapped in white flower garlands, with brass vessels and scattered petals on the floor. The setting appears to be a temple shrine during puja, with a brass lamp stand and offerings visible. No person is clearly identified as a person from the visible appearance.2014-12-05January 16 20132013-01-16A figure seated on a red-draped throne is framed by a flower arch of yellow marigolds, red roses and white garlands with blue and white accents. The seated figure wears a red robe, a tall ornate crown with a crescent, layered gold and silver necklaces, a rudraksha-style mala, gold armlets and bangles, and holds a staff in one hand. A standing attendant in saffron-orange cloth with rudraksha beads, bare-shouldered, reaches toward the figure with an offering vessel. The scene is set between ornate gold-carved pillars with a patterned backdrop. The seated figure's facial appearance is not distinguishable enough to confirm an identity, so the a person candidate is not established.2018-12-31February 09 20122012-02-09December 02 20172017-12-02 +1 copiesNovember 18 20152015-11-18
