A photograph of an outdoor temple shrine. A man with long swept-back dark hair and a red bindi wears an orange saffron robe and sits on a stone platform, holding a red apple while a woman in a patterned red-and-cream sari offers him a second apple. A shaved-headed man in white with an orange shawl stands at left, gesturing, while another man in white with a yellow shawl stands behind. Behind them is a golden ornate altar with marigold garlands, brass lamps and offering plates, and a white-bearded figure in orange robes, seemingly a statue or portrait, sits in the shrine.2010-07-08A seated figure in saffron-orange robes and a long rudraksha mala sits on an orange-cushioned throne in a temple sanctum, reading papers held in his hands. Before him, a shaved-headed man in white with an orange shawl leans forward, a young boy in white kneels, and a woman in white folds her hands in prayer. Behind them stands a deity murti draped in red, garlanded with marigolds, flanked by brass lamps and a kalasha-like arrangement, with a yellow-shawled attendant in white at the right. The seated figure is an appearance-based a person (long dark swept hair, saffron robes, rudraksha mala), so this is marked unsure. Five people are visible in total.2010-07-23A photograph of a seated man in an orange saffron robe with a dark rudraksha mala draped over his chest, with a red tilak on his forehead, extending his hand forward as a devotee in a white shirt with an orange shawl bends toward him to receive a blessing. Behind them stands a shaved-headed man in white with an orange shawl, and a cameraman is visible at the left edge. In the background a golden altar holds a deity murti in orange cloth with a garland of marigolds and white flowers, flanked by brass lamps and kalasha-style vessels. The setting appears to be a temple sanctum for darshan.2010-07-13A photo of a seated man on a gilded throne with a red cushion, draped in a saffron-orange robe and wearing a long yellow bead garland, with a red-and-white flower garland framing the throne. A white-shirted man bends forward to offer something at his feet, while a young man in orange dhoti and shawl stands at left with a rudraksha mala and a woman in a white sari with gold border stands at right. A wooden box sits on a white-draped table beside the throne, and a painted backdrop of clouds, flowers and deity figures with garlands surrounds the scene under leafy green decorations. A woman in a white sari with a green blouse stands before him, bending forward and touching his arm while holding a small offering. Red and white patterned panels and small brass lamps frame the stage.2009-08-25Photograph of a ritual scene inside a temple hall with a gold-trimmed pillar. A seated man in orange-red saffron cloth with a gold-bordered shawl, rudraksha beads, a red-and-gold headband and a red bindi with white vibhuti marks holds a small gold cup or vessel in his hands. Beside him, a man in a white dhoti with gold borders applies white paste to his forehead, and another man in saffron robes with a rudraksha mala and white marks on his forehead and arms assists nearby. A golden throne with red cushioning and a large gold backrest stands behind the seated figure, and an orange-and-blue ornamental fan or prabhavali hangs on the pillar.2012-05-09A seated man in an orange-saffron robe and red-orange cloth sits on a gold-trimmed throne decorated with yellow flowers, extending his hands in blessing toward an older man in a grey shirt and white dhoti who stands with his hands cupped forward.
