The seated figure is positioned at right on a raised platform edge; a candidate matching a person by appearance (long swept hair, orange clothing, bead malas) is visible, so this is probable. Around them, several men wear white dhotis and orange shawls, one with a rudraksha mala and another with a white forehead mark. A younger man in orange kneels in front holding a mobile phone, while more people stand in the background among lights and a camera on a stand at upper right.2008-08-02December 30 20092009-12-30January 15 20092009-01-15A photograph of an indoor room with cream walls and a tiled floor. A man in white shirt and white dhoti bends forward, clasping the seated figure's hands. Around them, standing people include a man in white with a gold chain at far left, a man in white dhoti and orange-and-cream shawl, a woman in a maroon saree, a man in a striped shirt and green-bordered dhoti, and a man in white at right gesturing with an open hand. In the foreground, a young man in orange robes and a draped orange cloth sits on the left, and a person in orange robes with a bare back and yellow-edged cloth sits on the right. Behind them, older men in white shirts and dhotis, some with bare chests, sit on plastic chairs with sacred ash and red tilak marks. A man in an orange shirt stands at the back holding a small object, and a few other people move near a doorway. The mood is a relaxed sit-down satsang among devotees and sannyasis, with no visible deity, throne or ritual fire.2012-05-08
