A young man in an orange saffron shawl over white dhoti walks along a sandy path lined with palm trees, one arm raised and the shawl held at his chest. Around him a group of men in plain white shirts and white dhotis, some with orange or pink shawls, follow closely, several raising fists or arms in the air. A white bus with blue lettering is parked behind them, and a low white wall runs along the left side. The mood is a walking procession or group march at an outdoor ashram-style event.

A group of roughly two dozen men stand outdoors on a sandy path in front of a white building with orange trim and a green-and-white striped awning. On the left, a white minibus with a blue stripe and Tamil lettering on its windshield is parked beside a yellow-and-white notice board. Most men wear plain white shirts with white dhotis, some with rudraksha malas. A man in the centre wears a white dhoti with a gold border and a rudraksha mala, smiling. On the right, a man with a white forehead band wears a saffron-pink shawl over a white shirt and dhoti. Several men wear grey trousers and sandals.

Outdoor photo of a crowd gathered at a roadside procession. A man in white clothes with an orange shawl stands on the roof rack of a light-blue van, holding a grey umbrella overhead. Below, rows of women in saris and men in white shirts and dhotis stand and watch, with a green umbrella and small oil lamps visible in the van windows. A thatched canopy frames the top left, and a Tamil-language signboard stands at right. Many people are visible, including children.

A photograph of a welcome procession on a paved courtyard in front of a gate. In the centre, a man with long dark hair wears a rust-orange wrap over his shoulder and matching orange dhoti, with sandals, and is being greeted with raised hands. Around him devotees in white shirts and white dhotis hold hands together in namaste, and some carry books. A blue bus marked Sree Vinayagar stands behind a decorated gateway with palm-leaf thatching. Several people in white and orange-clad devotees surround the central figure.

In the centre, a long-haired figure in saffron-orange robes faces a man in white who reaches out toward him, while others follow in a procession. A blue bus with the sign 'Sree Vinayagar' stands behind a green leafy arch beside the gate, with trees and a tower in the background.

A photograph of an outdoor village street during a welcome or house-visit gathering. A central figure in a long saffron-orange robe with a red-and-white flower garland stands on a green mat, with hands joined in greeting. Around them, women in white saris with coloured borders and older women with folded hands stand close, and men in white dhotis and shirts crowd behind. In the foreground, a man in white holds a hand drum (a percussion drum) under a red-and-white shawl, and another man in a yellow shirt stands at right. A palm tree, a thatched hut, a banana plant and a parked car form the background, with a concrete wall at left.

A photograph of a street procession outside a white building with a red-tiled roof. A central figure with long dark hair wears an orange saffron wrap and a red and white flower garland, walking barefoot on a dirt road. Around him, men in white shirts and white dhotis walk with several women in white saris and a boy in a black shorts and white shirt holding a hand. Parked cars, a pink building with a poster of a child's face, and palm trees are visible. Several people are visible, so the count is roughly twenty or fewer.
