January 02 20172017-01-02Close-up photograph of a priest's hands breaking or preparing a green leaf or pod over a ritual setting. The priest wears a red-beaded rudraksha mala and a white cloth around the waist, with a metal pendant hanging from a chain. Blurred offerings, white flowers, and incense sticks sit in the foreground, and a red brick wall with a dark pot stands in the background. Setting suggests a Rudrabhishekam ritual at a temple.2017-01-02Close-up photograph of a bare-chested man holding a small green leaf between his cupped hands, with a dark and red rudraksha mala draped across his chest and a small orange pendant with a figure on it. The hands show prominent ash markings and the figure's upper body is bare.2017-07-30Close-up photograph of a bare-chested person's torso and hands, with a long rudraksha mala of brown beads joined by red thread hanging across the chest. The hands hold a small green leaf or sprig. Behind, a dark stone linga-shaped object and a reddish-brown floor are visible. The face is not shown. The wearer appears to be a priest or devotee, and the appearance cues (rudraksha mala, bare torso) are not distinctive enough to confirm an identity, so the identity is marked unsure.2017-01-02December 14 20112011-12-14Close-up photograph of a seated person in a white dhoti with a wide gold border, cross-legged on a yellow and blue floor covering. Only the hands, lap and torso are visible, with no face shown. Behind the hands, out of focus, sit dark black stone shivalingam-like forms against a red wall. The figure appears to be a ritual participant; the face is not visible, so no identity is asserted.2016-12-14January 18 20142014-01-18 +1 copiesDecember 22 20162016-12-22December 15 20112011-12-15
