Many wear white horizontal tilak marks on their foreheads and arms. Black Shivalinga stones with brass kalasha-style vessels line the front edge, and festive string lights and yellow garlands decorate the stepped stage behind. The scene suggests a satsang or ritual gathering with seated priests and devotees, and no clearly identifiable a person figure is evident in the foreground rows.

Foreground and middle rows show many men in saffron-orange dhoti and shawl with rudraksha malas and pendant necklaces, several with white and red forehead markings. One man in the centre wears a rust-brown robe with rudraksha beads and raises his hands in anjali. An older man in white stands at left, hands folded. Black stone lingams stand in front of them, with brass vessels nearby. Behind them, a colourful striped canopy and a decorated ratha-style structure, with string lights and flags. A few women in maroon saris and men in white dhotis stand in the background.

A seated audience at a large gathering, with a central bare-chested man in orange dhoti and a rudraksha mala clapping, his body marked with white sacred ash stripes. Around him devotees in white and orange garments sit, including a man in a white dhoti with an orange shawl and a bald man with a red tilak. Two children in orange clothing sit in the foreground, one wearing a rudraksha mala. Nearby an older man with white hair wears an orange shawl. No clearly distinctive a person cues such as long swept-back hair, crown or ceremonial gold necklace are evident on any candidate, so the identity is uncertain. Behind them, rows of people dressed in white and orange fill the space. Two young boys and a girl sit among the saffron-clad participants.
