The murti is draped in yellow and white flower garlands with red and white accents, and wears a crown and gold ornaments. Behind the figure are gold ceremonial umbrellas, a golden kalasha-like finial and a green leafy backdrop. Pink fabric covers the altar base, and small gold figures flank the throne. The devotee wears a red-and-gold ornamented necklace and bangles. The scene suggests darshan and puja in a temple-like hall.2015-07-06December 12 20162016-12-12 +1 copiesDecember 27 20092009-12-27A group of about eleven devotees crowds together for a selfie in front of a large deity murti with a golden crown, decorated with ornate silver-and-coloured embellished arch behind it. A woman in the left foreground wears a cream sari with a red-beaded mala, a woman in purple and green sari smiles centrally, and a woman in blue top holds up a phone to take the selfie. Several women wear orange or saffron garments and rudraksha malas, and a man on the far right in grey-green kurta with an orange shawl and mala looks toward the camera. Behind them are gold-framed images and a metal lamp stand, under a corrugated roof.2016-12-12A large ceremonial hall during a puja with many seated devotees in the foreground, many wearing white clothes and red shawls. At the centre, a golden throne-like dais is draped with red cloth and garlands, holding a deity murti flanked by smaller images. Brass oil lamps and kalasha pots stand around the stage, and a golden lion-shaped seat is at right. A priest in white sits at the centre before the altar, with assistants in orange and white nearby. Incense smoke rises at the right edge.2015-07-17July 18 20132013-07-18July 17 20152015-07-17A staged darshan set-up in a hall with maroon drapes and a ceiling light rig. Centre, a large ornate heart-shaped throne with gold lion figures sits before a deity backdrop of a goddess holding a lotus, with a gilded tree motif above. Seated on the throne is a figure in an orange-gold turban and gold necklaces, not clearly identifiable as an in-person candidate; he appears to be a statue or depiction with a beaded garland and an orange drink on a small table beside him. To the left, a large golden deity murti with a raised trident and a red garland stands by a banner. Right, a gold canopied palanquin with floral garlands and brass lamps on a patterned rug.2016-10-08A photograph of a seated figure on a golden throne decorated with flower garlands in yellow, orange and red, with a brass bell hanging nearby. The seated man wears an orange-brown turban, a red-and-blue beaded garland, a heavy gold necklace, gold bangles and a rust-coloured shawl. Around him, devotees sit on the floor and stand, several women in saris and salwar kameez hold brass trays of lit oil lamps and flowers, and a cameraman in the background films the scene. Silver and brass plates of offerings, flowers and petals lie before the throne. Probable Swamiji cues: a turban, a rudraksha-style beaded garland and ornate gold jewellery on the seated figure, with the page indicating his presence at the event. The setting is an ornate doorway with studded wooden panels.2013-07-22
