July 20 20152015-07-20A man in an orange turban, orange robe and layered gold necklaces sits on a red-cushioned gilded throne with closed eyes and hands extended, while a man in a white shirt with a red shawl bends forward toward him, holding a thread or cord. Behind them, a woman in white and a shaven-headed man in orange with a tilak stand near a golden ornament, and a white ceiling fan and gilded panels fill the room. The seated orange-clad figure has distinctive long swept-back hair, a turban and ceremonial gold necklaces, matching the page's Swamiji (probable) candidate, while the standing devotee in white is a devotee.2015-07-20A seated figure in an orange-saffron turban, orange robe and rudraksha-style beaded necklace sits on an ornate gold-and-red throne, extending his arms to hold white threads that are being placed over the head of a bald man kneeling in a white shirt. Another man in orange robes and a beaded mala stands beside him, holding the threads, and a bald man with white forehead markings and arm bands watches nearby. A woman in white and red stands behind, with a brass vessel and a white fan in the background.2015-07-20A seated figure on an ornate golden throne with a rounded, embossed back is dressed in a maroon turban, maroon robe and layered rudraksha-style mala beads with a large gold pendant, and holds a flower-tipped staff in one hand. Before them stands a bare-chested man in a white dhoti with a red-threaded arm band, palms pressed together in a gesture of greeting and devotion. Behind him is a figure in orange robes and a shaved head, and beside the throne a bronze-coloured canopy frame. The scene reads as a ritual reception or blessing.2015-11-24October 25 20152015-10-25A seated man in saffron-orange robes and a gold ceremonial necklace sits on a red-cushioned golden throne, extending his hand to receive a small white offering from a young man in a white shirt and glasses on the left. A red beaded headband and a vertical tilak mark are visible. Standing behind him are two men in orange garments with gold necklaces, one with a shaved head, and another man in a green checked shirt in the background. The setting is a temple interior with a gold ornate backdrop.2012-05-08May 27 20152015-05-27A seated figure in a rust-red turban, red-orange robe and a long ornate necklace of rudraksha beads and gold-toned beads sits on a golden throne before a flower-decorated altar with yellow and orange garlands. An older man with grey hair and a beard, wearing an orange shawl and a white flower garland, bows forward and touches the seated figure's arm. Around them stand three men in white and saffron clothing with white tilak marks on their foreheads, one holding rudraksha malas, watching with smiles. Golden deity murti and brass ritual objects sit on the altar. Swamiji (probable): the seated figure wears a turban, rudraksha mala and gold necklace, consistent with the page's description of the event.2015-07-31October 25 20152015-10-25A seated figure in a red-orange turban and saffron-orange robe, wearing a white jasmine garland with red flowers, gold bangles and a brown shawl, touches the forehead of a smiling man in a white kurta with his palm raised. The seated figure holds a gold-tipped staff with a carved finial. Behind them stands a gold ornate throne and deity murti, a woman in white with a rudraksha mala assists, and a standing woman in white with a lanyard and rudraksha mala watches. Red drapery and brass lamps fill the background. Appearance-based candidate only: a person seated at centre, giving blessing as darshan, with his distinctive turban, garland and gold ornaments.2015-10-14A photograph of a seated man on an ornate gold throne with a red cushioned back, wearing an orange-saffron shawl over bare shoulders and a long rudraksha-style bead necklace with a gold-toned ceremonial pendant. He has long swept-back dark hair and a tilak-like mark on his forehead and is smiling as he places his right hand on the forehead of a shaved-headed man in white ritual clothing with an orange shawl. Behind them, two men in white dhoti and shirt wear orange shawls and lanyards, and a video camera operator is visible at top center. A brass oil lamp, a small potted plant and a dark red draped backdrop are in the setting. The seated man's appearance matches the page's Swamiji reference through several cues (long swept-back hair, ornate gold throne, saffron shawl, bead necklace), so this is a probable Swamiji in an act of blessing a devotee. Five or more people are visible including partially visible figures.2015-07-19September 27 20162016-09-27
