Most men wear saffron-orange robes and rudraksha malas, with white horizontal tilak marks on their foreheads, while others wear white dhotis with shawls. Several seated people hold open books, and in the foreground brass plates with offerings and small bowls sit on silver trays. Metal crowd barriers and seated women in white and colourful saris fill the background. No individual is clearly identifiable as a senior teacher in this view.2013-03-13 +1 copiesSeated devotees in an indoor hall perform a ritual puja with brass plates, small bells, a kalasha-style brass vessel and flower offerings set on the floor. Behind them, rows of people in white clothing sit on red mats, with a few in yellow and orange shirts. Several seated ascetics wear rudraksha malas and white-painted forehead and arm markings, and one at the front right holds a folded-hand pose beside a tray with a lamp. Behind them, devotees in white dhotis and shirts sit on the floor and chairs, and a few people stand near the back of the room. The scene looks like a group puja or ritual gathering.2013-04-06
