Behind them an older woman in a white sari with blue border stands near a green-and-red striped mat. Two men stand at the left edge in white shirts. The person receiving the garland is seen from behind and may be a sannyasi or devotee; no ceremonial crown or saffron robe is clearly visible.

A photograph of a seated figure in an orange sleeveless robe and a yellow-and-green flower garland, with long dark hair swept back, placing a hand on the head of a man in white shirt and white dhoti who bends forward with eyeglasses and a rudraksha mala. A woman in a green sari stands behind, and an elderly woman in glasses and a red bindi watches. Red bowls of fruit sit on a white table, and a patterned red-and-blue carpet covers the floor.
