A smoky ritual scene before a carved dark wooden doorway. An elderly priest with grey hair, bare-chested with white ash marks and wearing a white dhoti with gold border, bends forward to place yellow flowers on a silver tray. Behind him a bare-chested man in a white dhoti with gold border stands near the doorway. In the foreground a seated sannyasi in orange cloth with rudraksha mala holds a plate of flowers, and another seated figure in orange wrap with a leopard-print head cloth sits beside a silver puja platform heaped with yellow, white and red flowers, a silver bowl and a kalasha-like offering.
