A photograph of a seated figure in an orange-red saffron robe with a gold-and-bead pendant necklace and rudraksha-style beads over the chest, with long swept-back hair and a red tilak on the forehead, sitting on a red velvet-covered throne with ornate gold repoussé panels bearing lion heads. A man in a white shirt and white dhoti kneels in front, bending forward with his hands near the robe, on a colourful striped mat in a red-walled hall with a blue cloth canopy at the top. A carved portrait medallion hangs above the throne, and a white cloth bag rests on the floor at right.2017-05-10A photograph of a seated figure in orange robes and a red-and-orange floral garland on an ornate gold throne with red velvet cushions and yellow and red flower garlands. He places both hands on the head of a man in a white shirt with a yellow shawl who kneels before him. To the left, a man in orange robes holds a yellow cloth, and a woman in white with an orange shawl sits behind. A white fan and a red-and-gold backdrop are visible.2009-08-21A photograph of a long-haired figure in saffron-orange robes with a long beaded necklace seated on an ornate red and gold throne. The seated figure has a white marking on the forehead and hands raised to the head. A bald man in a white dhoti-style garment with a red border bows forward, pressing his head against the seated figure's arm. The setting is an indoor event with warm bokeh lights in the background. The seated figure matches the distinctive presentation cues of a person: long swept hair, saffron clothing and a beaded necklace, so the identity is an appearance-based label only. The bowing man in white is a devotee receiving a blessing.2010-10-15May 10 20172017-05-10December 29 20092009-12-29Photograph of a seated man in orange saffron robes on an ornate gilded throne with a canopy above, wearing a red and white flower garland with a yellow flower pendant, and shoulder-length dark hair. Two men in white kurtas kneel on a white cloth-covered platform before him; one has his hands clasped and head bowed close to the seated man's hand. A third man in white with an orange shawl stands at left holding crutches. Dark red backdrop with a painted tree design. Appearance-based probable candidate: a person, seated on throne in orange robes with garland and long hair, receiving devotees; identity uncertain.2007-02-24October 11 20082008-10-11November 22 20092009-11-22A seated man in an orange saffron robe with a gold-trimmed border sits on an ornate gold throne with red cushions, a banyan-tree backdrop behind him. He wears a long gold bead mala and a red tilak on his forehead, and his hands are adjusting the mala around the neck of a kneeling devotee. The devotee, seen from behind, wears a white shirt and has short dark hair.2011-02-20December 20 20112011-12-20A seated woman in an orange saffron robe and layered beaded necklaces sits on a red velvet throne-like seat under a red and yellow canopy, while a man in a white shirt and white dhoti kneels before her, holding an object in his hands. She rests one hand on his head in a blessing gesture. Standing behind them are several men in white dhotis and women in white and cream saris, some bare-chested, on a multicoloured striped mat. A gold-framed ornate seat stands at the right edge. The setting is an outdoor tent during an initiation or blessing ritual.2017-05-10May 10 20172017-05-10
