He is bare-chested except for a white shawl with gold borders draped over his shoulders, and wears rudraksha-style beaded bracelets on both wrists. A white vibhuti line and red bindi mark his forehead. Behind him, a blurred figure in white stands near a parked vehicle, and a gold and red ceremonial object appears at the right edge. Setting appears to be an outdoor ashram or temple gathering.2013-02-26A shaved-headed man in white ritual dhoti with a pink-striped shawl sits with palms pressed together in namaskar, eyes closed and mouth open mid-chant. He wears a heavy gold bead necklace with a small framed portrait pendant, a gold bangle, and white sacred ash bands on his forehead, arms and shoulders with a red bindi. Silver ritual plates with pink flowers, a red fruit and a gold-coloured tray lie in front of him. A partially visible person in a yellow-green striped shirt sits at the right edge. The setting appears to be a puja or satsang, with a red backdrop behind. The man is a priest or devotee; his appearance does not clearly match the a person candidate cues, so identity is uncertain.2010-10-16October 29 20112011-10-29 +1 copiesA close photograph of a shaved-headed man in white ritual dhoti and shawl with maroon borders, seated with palms pressed together in namaskar and eyes closed. He wears wire-rimmed glasses, white vertical tilak lines on his forehead, a silver bangle and a gold bead necklace with a small framed pendant. Behind him is a red-orange wall. To the left, a second seated man in white with folded hands is partly visible. The scene suggests a devotional puja or satsang setting.2010-08-28A shaved-headed man in a white dhoti and white upper cloth with a maroon border sits with eyes closed, holding white flower petals in his cupped hands. He wears a heavy gold bead necklace with a small framed portrait pendant and a rudraksha bracelet, and has white vertical and horizontal tilaka marks on his forehead and arms with a red bindi. A brass vessel is visible at the lower left on an orange cloth. A concrete courtyard with red and white painted pillars forms the background. The portrait pendant depicts a figure, but this is a printed image on jewellery, not a physical person; the man's identity is not established from appearance.2010-09-08
