A photograph taken in near darkness of an ornately decorated golden shrine or chariot, illuminated by warm light. The structure is draped with colourful flower garlands in pink, red, yellow and orange, with hanging tassels and a multicoloured fabric canopy above. At the left, a priest in white ritual clothing stands beside the shrine, holding a fan or whisk of white cloth aloft toward the deity murti at the centre. Silhouetted figures in the dim foreground suggest a gathered crowd. The scene appears to be a puja or aarti at a decorated deity shrine.2016-02-17Night photograph of a pada-puja or worship scene at a shrine.
