A night-time ritual at an open-air shrine with a red-and-white striped canopy. A man in an orange-saffron robe and a bare-shouldered figure in a white dhoti sit cross-legged on a raised white platform before a small fire pit and brass vessels. Behind them a deity murti and a red-and-gold decorated altar are lit, with a banner hanging from the wall, and fresh flower petals and offerings are arranged on the cloth-covered floor in the foreground. The scene resembles a homa beside a temple.2010-11-05November 09 20102010-11-09 +2 copiesPhotograph of a decorated shrine room with a large deity murti or image framed by black drapery, adorned with garlands and flower decorations.
