A long-haired figure in an orange-saffron robe with a white and red flower garland sits on the golden throne, extending a hand to offer a small wrapped gift to a young girl in a yellow dress. A woman in a white top with a dark bag stands at left holding out a flower-wrapped item, and an attendant in white stands behind. Another man in orange stands behind the girl holding a tray, and a silver tray with colourful bundles rests on the throne side. The figure in orange with long hair and distinctive saffron robe, seated on the throne, suggests Swamiji (probable).2009-12-24A photograph of a ceremonial exchange in an ashram hall. A man with long swept-back dark hair, wearing orange saffron clothing, a garland of multicoloured flowers and rudraksha-style beads, sits on an ornate gold throne with a red cushion, smiling as he holds a small blue packet and a sweet-like offering. Behind him a gold-carved throne back shows a deity relief, and flower-decorated arches frame the scene. In front, a young woman in a white dress and a woman in a gold-bordered white sari stand offering a paper item. A second man in orange robes and beads stands between them. A metal bowl of wrapped candies sits at the right, and a fan is at the left.2009-12-24A photograph of a seated man in saffron-orange robes on an ornate gilded throne with red cushions, smiling as he receives a dark tray or plaque from a woman in white clothes with an ID badge and a white shawl. Beside them stands a row of women in white, pale pink and printed salwar-style outfits, one wearing a yellow scarf; a small side table holds fruit, a bottle of water and sweets, and a red-and-pink draped backdrop with a stone pillar is behind them. The seated man appears to be a person by his saffron robes and throne; the appearance cues are moderate.2009-12-16A photograph of a seated figure in saffron-orange robes with long swept-back dark hair, a red tilak on the forehead, a rudraksha mala and ceremonial gold necklace, receiving a tray of offerings from a woman in a white and gold-bordered sari with a name badge. He sits before a gilded, ornate throne decorated with white and orange flower garlands and a golden lion-like carving. Three women in white saris and a man in white shirt stand and kneel before him, offering yellow fruit and a small plate of items on a wooden tray. The seated figure receives the offering with one hand extended. Behind is a red and cream draped backdrop and a stone-patterned pillar. A water bottle sits on the table. The white man kneels and handles the tray while a woman in a floral shawl holds a yellow fruit. Appearance matches the saffron and garland cues, so the seated figure is a person at an offering or darshan.2009-12-05
