July 25 20092009-07-25PhotoAlbumA temple ritual scene with a man in saffron-orange robes wearing a long white and red flower garland and a gold-beaded necklace, a red bindi and white tilak on his forehead, and bangles on his wrists; he holds white petals in one hand while another man in orange dhoti and shawl with white tilak carries a gold tray. Behind them stand a large deity murti and a tall multicoloured flower garland of red, yellow, green and purple blooms, with a gold hand-gesture sculpture above. Carved stone pillars frame the temple hall. Candidate appearance is a long-haired figure with several cues but this is uncertain, so the central man is described by role as a devotee performing an offering.2011-12-11July 25 20092009-07-25A barefoot man with long, swept-back dark hair stands on a green floor scattered with petals, laughing with arms raised in an expressive gesture. He wears a saffron-orange cloth draped over his body, a long multicoloured flower garland of white, pink and green blooms, and a gold bead necklace. Behind him a standing attendant in white dhoti and kurta with an orange shawl looks down, and a large floral backdrop with ornate gold framing fills the stage. Light falls warmly across the scene. The man has distinctive long hair, a saffron robe and a flower garland, which are appearance cues consistent with the page's Swamiji reference (probable). The page photo caption also names the Ananda Spurana convention at Rajapalayam.2006-11-05Photograph of a smiling man with long dark swept-back hair, wearing an orange saffron shawl and skirt, a red bindi on his forehead and a long strand of gold beaded ceremonial necklace; he raises one hand in greeting while walking through a hall. To his left a shaven-headed man in orange robes with a bracelet walks beside him, and behind them a shaven-headed man in a white dhoti with gold border stands near a red curtain and a projection screen at the top left. Two physical people are visible in the foreground plus one further figure in the background, so the count is three.2011-02-27July 30 20092009-07-30A photograph of a stage ceremony in a hall with blue draped curtains. A man in a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl stands centre on an orange platform, wearing a rudraksha mala and a white beaded necklace, with a long garland of yellow and purple flowers around his neck. To the left, an elderly bearded man with long white hair, in an orange and pink silk shawl with gold border and a garland of yellow and purple flowers, holds a brass tray of offerings toward him. To the right, a younger man with long dark hair in an orange robe with maroon border and rudraksha beads stands looking down. Orange cushioned armchairs flank the central figure. The scene suggests a pada puja offering, though the platform and gestures are the main visible action.2011-02-13A smiling man with long swept-back hair stands at a ceremonial stage, waving with his right hand. He wears an orange saffron robe, a long garland of white and red flowers with round green-yellow beads, and a heavy ceremonial gold necklace; the outfit and hair are consistent with the page's a person reference, so this is a person in_person appearance. Beside him, a bald man in orange robes with a rudraksha mala stands, and to the right a younger man in white with a gold-bordered cloth holds a tray. Behind them is a red and gold canopy, a gold-framed backdrop, flower decorations and lit oil lamps on a dark wall.2010-12-29A barefoot man with long swept-back dark hair, a red bindi and white vibhuti marks, wearing saffron-orange robes and a long gold bead necklace, stands smiling on a blue-covered stage with his hands clasped at his waist. Swamiji (probable) based on long swept-back hair, saffron robes and ceremonial gold necklace. Beside him, a second saffron-clad man with long hair and a gold necklace walks, and behind them a woman in white and other people in white and orange stand under a pink and maroon draped canopy. At right, a floral arrangement of marigolds, pink flowers and greenery sits beside a microphone at a podium, with cables on the sandy ground.2010-02-12A photograph of a stage ceremony before a dark blue curtain with garlands hanging above. On the left, a man with long dreadlocks and tripundra marks on his forehead wears an orange-gold silk shawl over an orange robe and a rudraksha mala with a pendant. In the centre, a smiling man with long dark hair, a red bindi and a rudraksha mala wears an orange garment with maroon border and is bare-armed. On the right, a shaved-headed attendant in orange robes holds a silver tray of yellow and white flower garlands and green leaves. Orange-cushioned chairs sit at the edges of the stage.2011-02-13A stage event where a man in saffron-orange robes and an orange turban places a long white and red flower garland around the neck of an older man wearing a white dhoti-style outfit and a gold-bordered red shawl. Beside them, another saffron-robed figure holds a brass plate with offerings. A man in a white shirt smiles nearby, and a brass lamp with a flame stands at the right edge. A large backdrop shows a smiling man in an orange turban, labelled as a portrait, behind the stage.2010-09-20
