Young men in white ritual clothes walk and dance with ornate orange and red umbrella-style canopies (chatra) carried on long poles, one bearing a blue emblem. A man in the foreground wears a rudraksha mala and a green lanyard, and a drum is partly visible at left. Several devotees in white dhotis and kurtas smile and move together. Outdoor evening procession on a dirt road lined with palm trees and shrubs. Men in white dhotis and shirts play drums, including a large barrel drum with red trim and a green drum, while others carry ornate umbrellas (chatras) in orange, yellow and blue above a decorated palanquin with garlands. Devotees in white and saffron walk along, and onlookers stand by a wire fence at left, including a woman in a dark sari and a child in pink. No a person candidate is clearly visible; the decorated palanquin at center is carried in procession.

A procession on a dirt path lined with palm trees under colourful umbrellas. At centre, a person in a saffron-orange robe with a white and orange flower garland walks among followers. Musicians lead: a woman in a red and gold sari plays a long wind instrument with a bell-shaped end, a man in white dhoti and shirt with a gold-bordered green cloth plays a similar horn, and a man in a rust-orange shirt beats a hand drum. Other men in white dhotis and shirts walk behind, and ornate decorated parasols in red, pink and gold canopy the procession. Strings of bunting hang overhead.

Outdoor procession along a dirt road beside a white boundary wall, with palm trees behind. Leading the procession, a woman in white holds a large gold ceremonial conch-shaped standard on a pole. Behind her, a drummer in white and a pink-shirted musician play instruments. Near the centre, a figure in saffron-orange robes with a white flower garland and rudraksha mala walks with an orange-and-white umbrella raised above him, while others in white dhotis and yellow sashes follow. Several saffron and multicoloured ceremonial umbrellas are carried above the crowd, and a long line of white-clad devotees, including children, stretches down the road. This appears to be a temple procession.

A procession on a dirt road outdoors under an overcast sky, with palm trees and tall trees behind. Under a multicolored canopy with embroidered panels, a figure in orange and white walks at the centre of the group. Musicians lead the procession: a drummer in an orange shirt and dhoti plays a drum slung at his waist, a man in a yellow shirt and red-and-white cloth plays a long wind instrument, and a man in a white shirt with a red-and-orange rudraksha-style mala and an ID badge plays a long horn-like pipe. Other men wear white kurtas and dhotis, some with orange shawls, and a man with a white forehead band plays a flute-like instrument. A red-and-white barrier runs along the left edge of the road.

A dirt-road procession in dry scrubland with trees. Drummers lead: a man in white dhoti and shirt carries a green-and-white drum, and a man in a brown shirt carries a drum with red and gold trim. A woman in a grey-green sari with a red border walks beside them. Behind, a man in white with a horn walks near a person in orange robes wearing a white floral garland, under a red-and-white fringed parasol. Several people in white and orange clothing follow. Umbrellas with coloured fringe and a standard appear overhead, and a man in white at the left holds a pole with a fringed canopy.

A photograph of a procession on a dirt path between a stone wall and a concrete-block building with banana plants behind. Several men in white dhotis and white shirts lead the way; the front three play long brass instruments, including a nadaswaram-style horn and a tutari-type trumpet, with their hands on the instruments. Behind them, men carry ornate ceremonial umbrella-like canopies (kodai) in red, orange and yellow with embroidered and tasselled fringes, and an older man in white follows. Two men on the right wear white shirts and lanyard ID badges. The scene suggests a festival procession with musicians and bearers of ceremonial canopies.
