Outdoor photograph of a welcoming procession on a dirt path at an ashram-like compound. A colourful striped parasol with a bird motif and decorative fringe is held over the walkway on the left. Participants in white ritual clothing line both sides with hands in anjali mudra. A woman in a cream and pastel-striped sari with a black handbag walks centrally and smiles. Other women wear white salwar-style outfits and white scarves, and some men wear white kurtas with yellow lanyards. A man in an orange robe stands at the back left. Coconut palms, a concrete boundary wall and a signboard with text appear in the background.

Outdoor ceremonial scene under a white canopy with yellow poles and marigold-strung top, with a red carpet and a red-cushioned seat on the right. Several women in orange saris and men in orange and white stand in a line, palms pressed together in namaste, some holding brass or conch-shaped vessels. A woman in white kurta and white trousers with long red hair and a man in a blue kurta with folded hands walk toward the line. A woman in a blue sari and a woman with teal-streaked hair in white also appear, with more devotees behind. A man in white with a backpack stands at right. The crowd is dense in the background.
