A gilded murti of a seated deity with a black face, tall crown, and vibhuti-style tilak, seated on a richly carved golden throne against a backdrop of golden and dotted brown-and-gold draped fabric. Yellow marigold garlands and a white flower garland hang over the chest. One hand holds a staff-like implement, another is raised in a mudra, and the right leg is bent in a relaxed pose. No physical people are visible; this is a statue or deity murti, not a person.2020-03-26October 12 20182018-10-12December 21 20182018-12-21MAy 27 20212021-05-27March 26 20202020-03-26 +2 copiesOctober 16 20182018-10-16Photograph inside a temple shrine. A man with a bearded face, a tripundra of white ash on his forehead, and an orange saffron dhoti and shawl stands at right with palms pressed together in namaste, head bowed. Beside him is a golden ornate shrine screen. In the centre, a golden-decorated throne with a green cushion holds a small deity murti adorned with a red flower garland and a jewelled necklace; flower garlands of red and pink hang around it, and brass oil lamps stand on either side. Behind, two black stone deity figures wear gold jewellery, red and pink flowers and dhotis, with a purple and white decorated arch. The man's appearance is consistent with the a person cues of orange saffron clothing, rudraksha mala and bearing, but his face is not clearly visible; identity remains uncertain.2020-06-06November 09 20092009-11-09June 06 20202020-06-06November 09 20092009-11-09November 09 20092009-11-09November 09 20092009-11-09
