A photograph of several bare-chested male priests seated in a row during a ritual on stone steps, with black stone pillars and red brick behind them. The foreground priest in the centre has short dark hair, a white thread across his bare chest, gold bangles and a rudraksha-style bead necklace, and holds his hands together near his chest. Other men beside him wear white dhotis with red-orange cloths, have white sandalwood or vibhuti markings on their shoulders and chests, and hold beaded malas. A figure at the far left wears an orange-yellow cloth and has yellow markings on the face. Faces are partly turned, and the men appear to be engaged in a seated ritual observance.

The man on the right has a red tilak mark on his forehead and a small beard; the man in the centre has a red dot on his forehead and a hand raised to his hair; the man on the left smiles with dark curly hair. Behind them, other figures in orange garments and white dhotis stand in a hall with colourful decorative pillars.

Photograph of a group of bare-chested men in white dhotis with white sacred ash markings on their foreheads and arms, gathered outdoors near a reddish-brown wall. The central man has his palms raised and hands open in prayer, wearing a rudraksha mala, red thread and a pendant. Others stand nearby with folded hands or bowed heads, one holding a pendant and another wearing a red-and-white beaded necklace. The men appear to be pada yatris, devotees who walked a long pilgrimage, in a devotional gathering. No identifiable a person figure is visible in the frame.

Photograph of shirtless men in orange and saffron cloths at a Maheshwara Puja darshan in a hall. The foreground man wears dark rudraksha mala beads, a pendant, and a brown-red shawl, with white sacred ash on his forehead and arms, and is handling yellow-orange flower garlands with a seated devotee. Beside him, another man with white ash marks wears a red-brown beaded necklace and bracelets. Further right, a smiling man with rudraksha beads and an orange cloth also holds garlands. Other devotees in orange and red fill the background near a wall of framed pictures. Four men are prominent and several others are partly visible, so the scene shows a larger group.
