In the foreground, shaved-headed men in saffron-orange robes with rudraksha malas sit with hands pressed in anjali, their foreheads marked with white vibhuti lines. Behind them, rows of young boys in red-and-gold robes and beaded malas sit on red mats, several with hands folded, while women in white saris with red borders and men in white shirts sit among them. Tall white candles stand along the rows, and red curtains hang at the back wall. No single leader is clearly identifiable among the seated crowd.2013-07-22Outdoor photo of a large seated gathering of devotees in saffron-orange clothing under palm and leafy trees, many with rudraksha malas and long matted or braided hair. A standing man in an orange robe with a mala stands at left center, and a man in a maroon shirt and dark trousers stands behind the crowd near a tree. A video camera on a tripod is at left, and a brass gong or large metal disc with a ceremonial staff hangs at right. A tall ornate staff with red and tasselled decorations stands at upper right beside a plate or offering vessel on the ground. Some seated women wear white and cream saris. The scene suggests a ritual or satsang gathering, with the central figures blurred by the crowd.2018-05-24October 03 20172017-10-03 +1 copiesOctober 15 20132013-10-15August 25 20172017-08-25A large seated group of devotees fills a bright hall, many sitting cross-legged with eyes closed in meditation or satsang.
