October 27 20142014-10-27A photograph of a large open pavilion during a ritual assembly. In the foreground, shaven-headed men in orange and saffron robes with red shawls stand and sit facing the front, alongside women in rust-red saris with gold borders. Beyond them, a decorated raised dais holds an ornate golden throne-like seat with red and gold cushions, where a figure in white and saffron sits. Brass lamps, kalasha pots, flower garlands and umbrella-like canopies surround the altar area. Seated white-clad devotees with red shawls fill the lower foreground. Some people are partially visible at the edges. The scene suggests a puja or homa gathering, though no specific ritual is clearly identifiable from the image alone.2015-07-17Devotees sit on the floor of a red-draped hall in a seated puja gathering around a gilded throne. A person in an orange-red turban and orange robe, with a long garland and gold necklace, sits on the ornate golden throne at the upper right, while seated devotees in white dhotis, saffron shawls and rudraksha malas face them. Several women in saris and salwars hold brass thalis of offerings, and a tall brass oil lamp stands at left beside a tripod-mounted camera. A gold-trimmed peetha table lies in front of the throne, with ritual plates and flames in the foreground.2015-10-26A satsang in a gilded hall with a leopard-print throne. A bearded man with long swept-back hair, a golden crown, an orange shawl and a rudraksha mala sits elevated on the ornate throne, appearing to be a person (appearance-based candidate) addressing the group. Around him, seated on a striped cloth, devotees in orange and white garments with malas listen attentively; a shirtless young man in white dhoti sits with hands folded, and a person holds a microphone. A cameraman operates a tripod-mounted camera behind a red curtain, and a golden deity murti stands near the railing.2017-10-12Night outdoor event under scaffolding and strings of lights. A seated man on an ornate gold-and-red throne wears a saffron robe and a marigold garland, hands resting in his lap. Nearby, two men in saffron robes stand with palms pressed together, and a woman in a maroon sari with gold jewellery stands with hands folded. A man in a white dhoti and red-and-green shawl holds a microphone and speaks while others in white dhotis and saffron cloth stand with arms crossed. A red-and-white kalasha sits on a tray with marigold garlands at the front, and a brass lamp stands beside the throne. Small rugs cover the ground.2018-03-02A crowded outdoor ritual scene in front of a stone structure, with many devotees in white clothes behind. In the foreground, several saffron-robed monastics sit or stand on an orange cloth with a brass plate of offerings and a small bowl. A tall man in saffron robes with long swept-back hair, a gold necklace and rudraksha malas stands at centre, hands folded, with other orange-clad men and a bald man in saffron near him. A woman in white with folded hands kneels nearby. Water appears on the stone floor beside a large stone pedestal. a person: the tall figure in saffron with long hair, gold necklace and malas is a candidate for a person, standing among the orange-clad group during the ritual.2010-12-29A photograph of a satsang hall in which a smiling man with short dark hair, a red tilak mark on his forehead, and an orange-saffron robe sits on a brown leather throne-style chair. He wears a long brown rudraksha mala and a gold pendant, and holds a silver and gold trident staff. Around him, seated devotees in white clothes and red-orange shawls face the stage, some wearing glasses. Behind is an ornate golden arch with a gilded niche and dark carved walls.2015-05-16Night-time outdoor ritual at an open courtyard temple. Dozens of devotees sit on the ground and on white plastic chairs facing a raised white platform, many in saffron and orange robes, others in white clothes. On the platform, several priests in orange and white garments sit before a gold-framed altar decorated with flower garlands and a deity murti draped in a green cloth. Standing figures in white dhotis stand behind them, and a small fire with smoke rises near the platform. Red and white pillars and hanging decorations frame the scene. A pen-holding attendee in a white top sits near the front left.2014-10-27March 02 20132013-03-02 +1 copiesDecember 09 20132013-12-09April 02 20162016-04-02A photo of a group ritual in a red-draped hall with a golden throne. A seated figure on the gilded throne wears an orange turban and saffron robes with a golden necklace; the figure's appearance is consistent with a person (in_person cues: orange turban, saffron robes, ceremonial gold necklace), though the face is too small to confirm. Around him, roughly two dozen seated devotees in white and red clothing hold lit oil lamps (diyas) in a puja setting; some wear red shawls and lanyards. A tall brass oil lamp stands at left and a camera on a tripod is visible behind. A bald man in white and orange garments kneels at lower center and another in white with an orange shawl sits at right. The scene reads as a lamp-lit satsang or puja gathering.2015-10-26
