A young man in orange saffron robes with a long white and bronze-bell garland of white and pink flowers stands centre, hands clasped and smiling. Beside him an older man with a long white beard and orange robes stands with a green sash. Devotees in white shirts and cream dhotis press forward, one holding a woven basket of white cloth and flower petals, another with palms joined in namaskar, and a man in pink holds a tray of petals. Green bangles and a white wall with a blue-striped pattern are visible.2010-02-02July 23 20122012-07-23September 11 20122012-09-11A candid photo at a temple entrance with a crowd behind. A man with long dark hair, a multicolour flower garland of red, yellow and white blooms, gold armband and bangles, and white ash on his forehead smiles while reaching toward a bunch of bananas held by a man in an orange robe with rudraksha malas. Nearby, a man in an orange robe and bare-headed attendant in orange also wear rudraksha malas. A devotee in a white shirt with folded hands and a striped cloth bows, and a woman in a maroon sari with white flowers in her hair stands in the foreground. Stone temple walls and a gopuram-style structure appear behind.2012-08-17January 07 20122012-01-07January 16 20182018-01-16July 23 20122012-07-23August 02 20082008-08-02Outdoor photograph of a street scene in front of a temple gate with a painted guardian statue above. A long-haired man in an orange saffron garment and a yellow-and-red flower garland stands at right, smiling and holding a bangled hand toward a bearded, dreadlocked sadhu at left. The sadhu, bare-chested with white ash markings and a dark wrap, holds up a basket of bananas. Around them stand men in white shirts and dhotis, a uniformed police officer in khaki, and onlookers in casual clothes. The orange-clad man has distinctive long hair, saffron robe and garland cues, so this is a person candidate in a welcoming exchange with the sadhu.2012-01-07December 29 20102010-12-29May 24 20122012-05-24 +1 copies
