Outdoor photo of a man in a bright red turban and red shawl over a blue-and-grey bordered garment, standing beside a large ornate copper ceremonial vessel with a kalasha-like top wrapped in orange cord and mango leaves. The vessel is garlanded with yellow marigold and red flower garlands and has carved tree and temple motifs. The man holds a small handbell in one hand and a flame or lamp at the top of his turban, with a rudraksha-style mala at his neck. Palm trees and greenery fill the background.

A woman in a red sari with a blue-bordered pallu and a red head covering stands with her back to the camera, facing a large pink stone pillar. The pillar, decorated with carved bands and a small shrine-like niche, is draped with garlands of yellow marigolds and red flowers, with bundles of dried grass tied to it. Two young men in dark clothing stand at the left, one with palms pressed together in namaskar. Fruit or flower offerings lie on the ground at the lower left. Palm trees and a roof edge frame the scene.

A photograph of an outdoor ritual at a copper-toned shrine structure decorated with yellow marigold garlands. A shaved-headed priest in a red-orange robe with a saffron-edged dhoti, rudraksha mala and a gold pendant bends forward to tend the base of the structure. A younger attendant in a white dhoti with a gold-bordered cloth stands behind him. Green trees and palms fill the background, and a grey dish antenna is visible at upper left. Two people are visible.

A photograph of a standing man in a red turban and red shawl over a blue-and-maroon bordered garment, holding his hands together before him and wearing a strand of gold-coloured beads and rudraksha-style necklace. He stands on a raised terrace beside a large copper ritual pillar (kalasha-style) topped with a bundle of green leaves and mango foliage, wrapped with yellow marigold garlands. Below, an orange cloth bundle tied with cord lies on a brass tray with yellow flowers. Coconut palms and foliage form the background. Appearance is not sufficient to establish identity, so he is described by role as a devotee at a ritual pillar.

A photograph of a temple ritual at an outdoor shrine under a corrugated metal roof. A person with long dark hair wearing a saffron-orange draped garment and a beaded orange-yellow necklace stands at right, holding a lit oil lamp in a metal stand with a flame. Beside them a sculpted stone pedestal supports an ornate carved stone structure, wrapped with pink and magenta flower garlands and dry wheat stalks, with small pink petals scattered on the platform. At left a person in orange clothing is partly visible, with another person in white behind them. The setting includes palm trees and an orange wall with a sign. Swamiji candidate appearance is probable: long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and a beaded necklace while performing aarti.

A woman in a red and blue sari with a red headwrap holds a lit flame or lamp toward a tall copper-coloured kalasha-style pillar (dhwaja or deepa stambham) draped with yellow and orange marigold garlands and a mango leaf bundle. In the foreground a bald man in white dhoti and shawl with an orange-and-gold border kneels with his back to the camera. Behind him another man in white holds a tray. At right, a deity murti under a cobra hood is decorated with red and yellow garlands. Several onlookers in white and orange stand at the left edge.
