A photograph of a procession walking barefoot along a dirt path under leafy trees. Four men in saffron-orange dhotis and shawls lead, wearing layered gold and rudraksha-style beaded malas; the figure in the centre wears a red-pink garment and a long dark swept-back hair style and carries no visible object. Behind them, a man in a white dhoti with a golden border holds a silver tray with a small lamp, and another attendant in white carries a tray of offerings. Other people in white and light clothing follow along the path, and a red building shows at right.

A figure in the centre-front wears a white dhoti and shawl, a long gold necklace, and has long dark swept-back hair; he walks barefoot, with a garland of orange and purple flowers on a pillar nearby. Behind him, several men in white dhotis and shawls and women in white and orange saris follow in a line, some with hands folded. A heap of orange-red flowers sits on a raised platform at right beside a deity murti area. Appearance-based a person cues include the long swept-back hair and gold necklace, with the figure leading the procession in white ritual clothes.

Outdoors beneath a large banyan tree with many hanging aerial roots, a man stands barefoot on a dark stone slab over a red cloth. He wears an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl, a gold bead necklace, and a white forehead marking with a red dot. Two other men flank the scene: on the left a bald man in orange cloth with yellow borders, and on the right a bare-chested man in maroon dhoti holding a plate of offerings with fruit and flowers. A low stone wall and a white plastic bucket sit nearby, and orange walls show in the background. The setting suggests a ritual or puja gathering in a temple grounds.
