The male figure wears a blue cloth, a crown and a beaded necklace, while the female figure wears a red and green sari with gold ornaments. Behind them is a large gold-framed arch on the temple structure, and a crowd stands at the edge of the frame, including people in orange and red saris and white dhotis. Overhead is a tin-roofed shelter and a loudspeaker on a pole.2010-01-08December 02 20162016-12-02January 02 20162016-01-02Two metal deity murtis stand side by side within an ornate gilded arch framed by carved lion-like motifs. Both figures wear tall silver crowns, heavy jewelled necklaces and ornate ornaments, and are draped in garlands of white flowers, yellow marigolds and dark maroon blooms. The left figure holds a small bowl or cup and wears a purple velvet shawl over its arm; the right figure raises one hand in a blessing gesture and wears a patterned silk garment. A deep red cloth covers the base below. No living people are visible.2012-04-03A procession outdoors in front of a stone temple gopuram with carved pillars. A deity murti of a seated god with a tall gold crown and gold ornaments is carried on a palanquin decorated with dense garlands of yellow marigolds, red and white flowers, and pink blooms, with a green silk cloth draped beneath. A second smaller figure stands beside the main murti under the same flower canopy. Devotees' hands and heads are visible in the foreground, and a blue tarpaulin canopy stretches overhead. The scene suggests a temple ratha or palanquin procession.2022-12-01January 02 20162016-01-02November 30 20112011-11-30April 23 20132013-04-23 +2 copiesPhotograph of a decorated shrine with two golden murti figures seated on a throne-like platform, surrounded by arches of yellow, orange, purple, red and white flower garlands.
